The Splitter Cable (Part Number: 780868-01) from National Instruments is a specially designed Display Cable that lets you operate two different types of monitors with a single host device. The Splitter Cable comes equipped with 29-Pin, Female DVI-D, 15-Pin, Female VGA Back End Connections and a 29-Pin, Male DVI-I Front End Connection. The two Back End Connections on this cable are used for connecting to two separate monitors or display devices.
The NI Splitter Cable is a 0.2-meter adapter that is usually deployed near the host controller. This Display Cable is intended to be used with National Instruments devices which support dual monitors and can offer VGA and DVI output at the same time.
